A rare Conversation between Krishna and Today's Arjun

Arjun : I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.

Krishna : Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.

Arjun : Why has life become complicated now?
Krishna : Stop analyzing life... It makes it complicated. Just live it.

ArjunWhy are we then constantly unhappy?
KrishnaWorrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.

ArjunWhy do good people always suffer?
Krishna : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.

Arjun : You mean to say such experience is useful?
Krishna : Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons later.

Arjun : Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…
Krishna : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.

Arjun : Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?
Krishna : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

Arjun : In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
Krishna : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Arjun : What surprises you about people?
Krishna : When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me?"

Arjun : How can I get the best out of life?
Krishna : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Arjun : One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
Krishna : There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

Last Words of Steve Jobs

I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world.

In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.

However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.

At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.

In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of God of death drawing closer…

Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…

Should be something that is more important:

Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days ...

Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.

God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.

The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me.

What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.

That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.

Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands.

What is the most expensive bed in the world? - "Sick bed" …

You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.

Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – "Life".

When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading – "Book of Healthy Life".

Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down.

Treasure Love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends...

Treat yourself well. Cherish others.

I don’t Understand

  • Why we can’t have morality without dictating religion.
  • Why we can’t have differences without hatred.
  • Why we can’t have disagreements without belittlements.
  • Why we can’t love a higher spirit, but each in our own way.
  • Why we can’t feed the homeless but can rebuild the world.
  • Why we can’t find charity for our neighbors but can pray for a stranger.
  • Why we can’t see our own faults but can so easily find them in others.
  • Why we can’t see the good but so readily point out the bad.

I don’t understand
  • Why love doesn’t return the gift of generosity.
  • Why we profess to value honesty then lie to protect ourselves.
  • Why success can’t be won without deceit.
  • Why we abuse the world but cherish possessions.
  • Why profit means more than the method that achieves it.
  • Why what people say isn’t what they mean.

I don’t understand.

  • Why we complain more about what we don’t have instead of seeing what we’ve already been given.
  • Why we want so much when it’s usually the simple things that make us happy.
  • Why we try to be someone and something we aren’t instead of celebrating who we truly are.
  • Why we aren’t more thankful for the people in our lives instead of the things in our lives.

Inspiring Word by a Daughter to her Father

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was sort of scared, so asked his little daughter,
“Sweetheart, hold my hand so that you don't fall into the water”
The little girl said, “No, Dad. You hold my hand!”
“What's the difference?” asked the puzzled father.
“There's a big difference dad…” replied the little girl.

“If I hold your hand and something happens,
chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that
No matter what happens, you will never let my hand go!”

Fill your heart with love and compassion,
Polish your thoughts with purity and divinity,
And decorate your deeds with dedication and service,
The rest is assured that he will never let you slip and fall!

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its Bond!

Good day and be blessed with His Strong Hold!

How to Be an Inspiration to Others

Sachin Tendulkar has inspired thousands of young boys to take up cricket.  Lata Mangeshkar has inspired many to become professional singers. There are a million such examples of people who have been an inspiration to others. How does one get there? How can you inspire people? How can you become someone that people look up to?

Do what You love

Had Sachin become an accountant, would he have been so successful? Would he have become the sweetheart of the nation that he is today? Perhaps not. So start by doing what you love to do and are good at. At the same time, don’t think about money or fame. Just quietly go about doing your job and success will follow.

Success breeds Inspiration

Look at the Tatas and Birlas. I am sure they didn’t get into business saying one day we will inspire people. Inspiration happened on the way. Their success is one of the reasons why people look up to them.

It’s not only Success

But it’s not only success, it’s their personality- them as people that inspires us too. There are thousands of people who have become successful using unscrupulous means. We don’t get inspired by them. Even your father or a friend could be an inspiration. Not because they are rich and successful, but maybe because they never lie, or are hardworking or are always there for you.

It doesn’t Need to be Big

You don’t necessarily need to climb Everest to be inspiring. It could be really simple things. Like learning to read and write at the age of 80, finishing a novel you’ve been working on for years, quitting your job to open a restaurant, taking care of your ill mother. Any activity that is done with all your heart will be an inspiration to others.

Putting Others before You

Mother Teresa was a saint, not because she always dressed in white and smiled at everyone, but because she sacrificed everything for others. She always put others before her. Give up the larger chunk of apple pie to your sibling, let your friend go to Disneyland instead of you because he can’t afford or, on your birthday, instead of spending thousands of rupees on a party and getting drunk, go to an orphanage and play with the children there. The day you start giving up what you love for others, that’s the day people will start looking up to you and will get inspired. But this doesn’t mean you pretend to give just to be admired. You really should want to do it.

Humbleness

Even after being so immensely successful, Sachin and Lata are both incredibly humble human beings. There’s not an iota of pride in their voice when they speak in public. That’s one of the most important traits one needs to inspire others. The more successful you become, the richer you get, more humble you should be.

Start giving, and serving others selflessly and sooner or later, people will start admiring you for the person that you are.

Life is a Gift, Do not throw it so Easily

Life is a gift and what an amazing destiny my creator wrote for me. Every tear that I shred, every motion that I felt, it was being converted to rewards which I will collect.

Remember you start this journey with thousands of family members but they are purely in your life to teach you lessons. It's ok to walk away as they are not meant to travel the whole journey along side you.

Instead of suffering silently, shout it from the roof tops and tell the world how you feel. There is no point in cutting your life short, because when you have left this world, the problems go with you.

There is no death, your life, your responsibility and you’re in charge of you.

Inspiring Words by a Handicapped Boy to Dr Abdul Kalam

A few minutes ago I was in Harali village in Maharashtra where I met 2000 of students from different schools. Just when I was about to get down from the stage a young boy, about 18 years of age, held in the arms of his mother cried to meet me. I called them both on stage. The boy could not walk due to some childhood disease, but he was strong in willpower.

He told me, "My name is Shailesh and I am from this village. You told me to have a dream. I am here to tell you my dream. I am chess player... and someday I will become a Grand Master".

Great to see such aspirations and strength in a rural boy who despite his challenges, has a great aim. Best wishes Shailendra

A Heart Touching Words by a Doctor on the Abortion

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said :

"Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.”

So the doctor said: “Ok and what do you want me to do?”

She said: “I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.”

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: “I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.”

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: “You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.”

The lady was horrified and said: “No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!”

'I agree', the doctor replied. “But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.”

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Love says, “I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person.” Abortion says, “I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself.”

Keep Going

No matter what you do, no matter how many times you screw up and think to yourself “there’s no point to carry on”, no matter how many people tell you that you can’t do it – keep going. Don’t quit.

Don’t quit, because a month from now you will be that much closer to your goal than you are now. Yesterday you said tomorrow. Make today count.

Never give up until You achieve Success

Don't give up! By default, you won't be a failure! Try a new way. Rethink, Reinvent, if you walk away from what you really believe in, you never know what might have been. You believe for a reason. Now work on making it a reality.

Great Example : Wheel of Fortune.. The TV show that everyone knows was NOT an instant hit ... even was cancelled. But now, TV show, Computer Game, Pone App, Casino Slots, 'Wheel' is everywhere...

So what may seem like a failure is an opportunity to get you to try harder, rethink and implement new strategy.

A Heart Touching Words by Son to his Working Mother

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

Son : Mummy, may I ask you a question?
Mother : Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

Son : Mummy, how much do you make an hour?
Mother : That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing? the woman said angrily.

Son : I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?
Mother : If you must know, I make $20 an hour.

Son : Oh.. the little boy replied, with his head down.
Son : Mummy, may I please borrow $5?

The mother was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think: “Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn't ask for money very often.”

The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

Are you asleep, son? She asked.
No Mummy, I'm awake, replied the boy.
I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier said the woman. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. Oh, thank you Mummy! he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

Why do you want more money if you already have some? the mother grumbled.
Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. the little boy replied.

Mummy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.

The mother was crushed. She put her arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

Morel :  It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love.

Letter from an executed Yugoslav Partisan sent to his Unborn Child in World War II

My child, in the life ahead of you keep your capacity for faith and belief, but let your judgment watch what you believe. Keep your love of life, but throw away your fear of death. Life must be loved or it is lost, but it should never be loved too well.

Keep your wonder at great
and noble things, like sunlight
and thunder, the rain and
the stars, and the greatness of heroes.
Keep your heart hungry for new knowledge.
Keep your hatred of a lie, and keep your power of indignation.

45 Lessons of Life

  • Life is not fair, but it's still good.
  • When in doubt, just take the next small step.
  • Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
  • Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
  • Pay off your credit cards every month.
  • You do not have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
  • Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
  • It's ok to get angry with God. He can take it.
  • Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
  • When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
  • Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
  • It's OK to let your children see you cry.
  • Do not compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  • If a relationship has to be a secret, you should not be in it.
  • Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But do not worry; God never blinks.
  • Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
  • Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
  • Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
  • It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else
  • When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
  • Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
  • Over prepare, then go with the flow.
  • Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
  • The most important sex organ is the brain.
  • No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
  • Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
  • Always choose life.
  • Forgive everyone everything.
  • What other people think of you is none of your business.
  • Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
  • However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  • Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
  • Believe in miracles.
  • God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
  • Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
  • Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
  • Your children get only one childhood.
  • All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
  • Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
  • If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back
  • Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  • The best is yet to come...
  • No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
  • Yield.
  • Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

True Facts about Jealous Personality

You can not harm a jealous person because jealous people always suffer anger or upset inside by seeing your success or pleasure. So, there is no need to hurt them as they always hurting their health, time or some time wealth by observing your happiness. If you attempt to hurt them, you will also lose your wealth and health. It is not viable that we do not lose anything in effort of hurting other person. (It can be your valuable time or health.) If that individual upset by your effort, in return, you will not get a benefit a pinch from this. Instead, you constantly experience an emotion of fear or sorrow inside your heart at that moment.

I always suggest you that you should not make any relationship or friendship with a jealous personality. If this person gets hurt by you during your friendship mistakenly, they will turn into your extreme opponent. They will constantly try to demolish your pleasure, achievement or wealth at any expenses.

  • To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
  • To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
  • To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
  • To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
  • To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
  • To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

Sad Story of Suicide

You are sitting in your room with the door locked with a pen in your hand and a blank piece of paper in front of you. Your hand is shaking, and the tears begin again - for the third time in the past hour. ‘To my family’ you write at the top of the page, but decide it’s a bad way to begin your letter, your suicide letter. You try again, start over again and again, but you do not know where to begin. No one understands you; no one knows what you are going through, you are alone or at least that’s what you think. Nobody would care if you are alive or not, you mean nothing to anybody. It’s night, and you slip into bed. ’Goodbye’ you whisper into the darkness. And with that, you take your last breathe and end it all. No body cares, right? Well you thought wrong. It’s a Tuesday the following morning, and when it’s 7:21, your mother comes and knocks on your door. She does not know you can not hear her she does not know you are gone. She knocks a few more times, calling your name to open up. When there is no reply from your side of the door, she opens it and screams. She collapses on the ground while your dad rushes to your room. Your siblings have already left for school. Your very weak mother collects all the energy she’s got which is close to nothing to walk over to your bed. She leans over your dead body, crying, squeezing your hand, screaming. Your dad is trying to stay strong, but the tears escape his eyes; calling 000 or 911 with his left hand while his other one is on your mother’s back. Your mother blames herself. All those times she had said ‘no’ to you, all those times she had screamed at you, and sent you to your room over something stupid. Your father will blame himself for not being there for you when you asked for help, for being away from home at work for long. Nobody cares, right? 8:34. There’s a knock on your classroom door it’s the school principle. She looks more worried than ever. She calls the teacher to the side; all the students worried: what’s going on? The principle then later announces about your suicide. The popular girl that always called you fat and ugly is now blaming herself. The kid that would always copy your homework but treat you like crap, he’s blaming himself. The boy that sits behind you, the one that always threw things at you during class, he’s blaming himself too. The teacher is blaming herself - for all those times she’d scream at you for forgetting your homework, or not listening in class. People are crying, screaming, shocked, in regret of what they did. They’ll all be devastated - even the kids you’ve never talked to before. Still nobody cares about you, right? Your siblings get home. Your mother has to tell them that you are gone; forever. Your little sister, no matter how many times she’s screamed at you, told you she hated you and stole your stuff always loved you, and saw you as her hero; her role model. She now starts to blame herself; why didn’t I do what she told me to do when she told me to? Why did I take her stuff even when she asked me not to? This is all my fault. Your brother gets home, the boy that never cries. He’s now in his room; mad at himself, he caused your death. All those times he’d played pranks on you. He’s punching holes in his wall, turning over things; he doesn’t know how to deal with the fact that you’re gone. Forever. Nobody cares about you, right? Right? It has been over a month. The door to your room has been closed all this time. Everything is different now. Your brother has to be sent to anger management classes, your little sister cries everyday still waiting for you to come back. Everyday she waits for you to come back home. The popular girls have now turned anorexic. They do not know how to deal with the pain that they’re feeling. Your father has depression; your mother has not slept for nights it’s all her fault. She’s been crying and screaming every night wishing for you to come back. The boy who would always bother you dropped out of school. The boy that copied your homework now cuts. But nobody cares about you, are not I right? Your mother finally decides to go clean out your room. But she can not do it. She’s locked herself in your room for two days to try to clean up your clothes, your things. But she can not she can not say goodbye to you, not yet, not now. Never. It’s your funeral. It’s a big one, everybody comes. No one knows what to say. The beautiful girl with the big smile is gone; you’re somewhere else. No one knows what to say, they’re all still shocked. Everyone cries, everyone misses you. They all wish you’d come back but you do not, and you won’t. Still think nobody cares about you? Think again. Even if people do not show it, they care about you, they love you. If you kill yourself today or any other day you won’t know just how much you meant to people. If you kill yourself today, it stops your pain, but it pains all the ones who know you for the rest of their life. Suicide is the easy way out - but it’s the wrong choice. Life is beautiful. Yes, it does have its ups and downs everyone has their bad days. Sometimes people go through tough times in their lives like you are probably going through now but bad times come and go. You might not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s there. No matter how hard life gets, never give up on yourself, or on your life. Take a minute now, and think. If you killed yourself, how would the people that love you feel/go through? Can not think of anything? Well I’ll tell you: tears, tears, and more tears. Devastation. Guilt. Pain. Broken. Regret. Miserable. If after reading this you still feel suicidal, there are people that can help you. I’m here for you whenever you need me, and I’ll be more than happy to listen to you and try to help you feel better. There are teachers, parents, grandparents, neighbors, adults, councilors, and so many more. They are all there for you whenever you need them, I promise. And I am here too♥.

A Letter from Dad and Mom

My child,

When I get old, I hope you understand and have patience with me.

In case, I break the plate, or spill soup on the table because I am losing my eyesight, I hope you do not yell at me. Older people are sensitive, always having self pity when you yell. When my hearing gets worse and I can not hear what you are saying, I hope you do not call me ‘Deaf!’ Please repeat what you said or write it down.
I am sorry, my child. I am getting older.

When my knees get weaker, I hope you have the patience to help me get up. Like how I used to help you while you were little, learning how to walk. Please bear with me, when I keep repeating myself like a broken record; I hope you just keep listening to me. Please do not make fun of me, or get sick of listening to me. Do you remember when you were little and you wanted a balloon? You repeated yourself over and over until you get what you wanted.

Please also pardon my smell. I smell like an old person. Please do not force me to shower. My body is weak. Old people get sick easily when they are cold. I hope I do not gross you out. Do you remember when you were little? I used to chase you around because you did not want to shower.

I hope you can be patient with me when I am always cranky. It is all part of getting old. You will understand when you are older. And if you have spare time, I hope we can talk even for a few minutes. I am always all by myself all the time, and have no one to talk to. I know you are busy with work. Even if you are not interested in my stories, please have time for me. Do you remember when you were little? I used to listen to your stories about your teddy bear.

When the time comes, and I get ill and bedridden, I hope you have the patience to take care of me. I am sorry if I accidentally wet the bed or make a mess. I hope you have the patience to take care of me during the last few moments of my life. I am not going to last much longer, anyway.

When the time of my death comes, I hope you hold my hand and give me strength to face death.

And do not worry… When I finally meet our creator, I will whisper in his ear to bless you, because you loved your dad and mom.

Thank you so much for your care.

We love you. ! ♥

Why We keep Crying over Same Thing again?

A wise man once sat in the audience and cracked a joke.

All laughed like crazy. After a moment he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time.

He cracked the same joke again and again, when there was no laughter in the crowd,

he smiled and said,

“When you can’t laugh on the same joke again and again, then why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again”

‘Learn to move on’…

Inspiring Words by Swami Vivekananda

Disciple : But that requires a good deal of money. Where will you get this money?

Swami Vivekananda : What do you talk! Is not it man that makes moneys? Where did you ever hear of money making man? If you can make your thoughts and words perfectly at one, if you can, I say, make yourself one in speech and action, money will pour in at your feet of itself, like water.
