Time of Healing

You said I must wait.
I waited.
You said I must be patient with you.
I was patient.
You said if our love was true,
Time didn't matter.
But it did.
I guess time ran out
When you left with another.
You turned our time together,
into a time of pain and heartbreak.
Now a new time has begun,
A time of healing,
If I can heal.
This awful feeling
It consumes me.
Of your betrayal
I love you,
I hate you.
All I want to say is
Good Bye.

Spiritual Laws by Swami Vivekanand

  • Love is the Law of Life : All love is expansion, all selfishness is contraction. Love is therefore the only law of life. He who loves lives, he who is selfish is dying. Therefore, love for love's sake, because it is law of life, just as you breathe to live.
  • It’s Your Outlook that Matters : It is our own mental attitude, which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.
  • Life is Beautiful : First, believe in this world - that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you do not understand it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves!
  • It’s the way You Feel : Feel like Christ and you will be a Christ; feel like Buddha and you will be a Buddha. It is feeling that is the life, the strength, the vitality, without which no amount of intellectual activity can reach God.
  • Set Yourself Free : The moment I have realized God sitting in the temple of every human body, the moment I stand in reverence before every human being and see God in him - that moment I am free from bondage, everything that binds vanishes, and I am free.
  • Don’t play the Blame Game: Condemn None : If you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.
  • Help Others : If money helps a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.
  • Uphold Your Ideals : Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.
  • Listen to Your Soul : You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
  • Be Yourself : The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!
  • Nothing is Impossible : Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak, or others are weak.
  • You have the Power : All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.
  • Learn everyday : The goal of mankind is knowledge. Now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside: it is all inside. What we say a man 'knows', should, in strict psychological language, be what he 'discovers' or 'unveils'; what man 'learns' is really what he discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.
  • Be Truthful : Everything can be sacrificed for truth, but truth cannot be sacrificed for anything.
  • Think Different : All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.

Falling in Love is the Best Thing in Life

Love is when -

He starts getting serious about his life,
and she stops thinking about It.

He starts saving money to spend only for her,
and she never stops spending on herself.

He stops smoking, drinking just for her,
and she starts alarming about not to have them.

He starts getting crazy on her every move,
and she starts realizing how beautiful is she for someone.

He starts telling her every little thing,
and she starts talking about useless things.

He stops sleeping just to have a little talk with her,
and she starts sacrificing her sleep just to let him do so.

He starts taking her as if she is his wife,
and she starts learning to cook food just to prove it true.

He stops looking at other girls,
and she starts getting serious about her own looks.

He gets emotional while reading this text,
and she smiles for the same.

Sachal Sarmast

The name Sachal Sarmast can be translated as Ecstatic Saint of Truth. He is sometimes called Sachoo, The Truthful.

Sachal Sarmast was born in the Sindh region of what is today Pakistan, and is considered one of the great poets and Sufi mystics to emerge from the region.

His teachings have often been compared with al-Hallaj, the Sufi martyr who ecstatically proclaimed, "I am the Truth." Rather than blindly following tradition, Sachal urged people to seek the truth directly. And like ibn Arabi and others, Sachal Sarmast taught a vision of Unity called Wahdat al-Wujud, which others have compared to the great nondualist teachings of Advaita Vedanta within Hinduism and Zen/Chan within Buddhism.

Sachal Sarmast once said, "He (God) is everywhere and in each and every phenomenon. He has come here just to witness His own manifestation."

Sachal Sarmast was born Abdul Wahab in the village of Daraza in the Sindh region. His father died when he was a young child, and Abdul Wahab was raised by his uncle, who also became his spiritual master.

His soul was deeply moved by music. Listening to music, he was often enraptured, tears pouring down his face.

Sachal Sarmast married, but the young woman died two years later. He never remarried.

He took the name Sachal, Truth. Later people added Sarmast, Leader of the Ecstatics, to his name in appreciation of his spiritual poetry.

Sachal Sarmast lived a humble, ascetic life, preferring solitude, simple meals of daal and yogurt. It is said that he never left Daraza, the village of his birth. Yet he composed sacred poetry in seven different languages, poetry that is loved and sung to this day.

Translations of His Poetry

Friend, this is the only way
to learn the secret way:
Ignore the paths of others,
even the saints' steep trails.
Don't follow.
Don't journey at all.
Rip the veil from your face.

I search in the streets, I cast my sights,
The path of joy may someone behold,
The path of joy may someone behold,
How can I hide my nature, and show myself as another!
To know another is sin, every form is God Himself.

Neither did I roll rosary, nor did I ponder and pray,
I went to no mosque or temple, nor bow in adoration to any,
Sachal is lucky everyday, love is all around him.

”Tis not in religion I believe
'Tis love I live in.
When love comes to you.
Say Amen!

We are, what are we?
We know not, what we are!
For a moment we are blessed
For a moment we are accursed
Some moment we pray and fast
Some moment we are free spirits
Now we declare, 'Only we exist'
Now we declare, 'We don't exist'
For a bit, our heart is calm
In a bit, we weep rivers
Now we say, 'We are self-realized'
Now we ask, 'Who are we?'
'Sachal' we are only that eternally
what other contracts can we make here?

What is Love?

Do you know, what is pain?
    - Seeing your loved one with someone else.

Want to know, what is love?
    - Look into the eyes of your loved one after a tight hug.

Want to know, what is worse?
    - Imagine your loved one leaving you forever.

Want to know how fertile life is?
    - Imagine a life without your loved one.

Want to know, what is irritating?
    - To see someone irritating your love.

Want to know, what is hurting?
    - When you realize, you hurt your loved one with your behaviour.

Want to know who you love?
   - Its that person whom you are thinking about while reading this.

I Look at You

Yeah when my world is falling apart,
When there's no light to break up the dark,
That's when I
I look at you.

When the waves,
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore,
That's when I
I look at you.

When I look At You I see forgiveness,
I see the truth.
You love me for who I am.
Like the stars Hold the moon,
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone.

I see love being with you.
I cry for you every time.
I walk around going mad.
Missing everything of you
I love you!

Great Sacrifice from Father

One day an 11 year old girl asked her daddy,
"What are you going to get me for my 15th birthday?"
The father replied, "There is much time left."
When the girl was 14 she fainted and was rushed to the hospital.
The doctor came out and told her dad she had a bad heart and she is probably going to die.
When she was lying in the hospital bed she said
"Daddy, Have they told you I am going to die?"
The father replied no you will live as he left weeping.
She said "How can you be sure."
He turned around from the door and said "I know."
She turns 15 when she is recovering and comes home to find a letter on her bed. It says :
"My Dearest Daughter, if you are reading this it means all went well as I told you. One day you asked me what I was giving you for your 15th birthday, I did not know then but now my present to you is a My Heart."

Her father donated his heart to her daughter.

Moral - Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father.

This story showed that father is first man who loves her daughter more than Himself.

I am not Angry

I'm not angry because we broke up,
I'm sad because I can't let you go....

I'm not angry at you for not loving me,
I'm angry with me for still loving you.....

I'm not angry that I lost you,
I'm sad because I once had you......

I'm not angry that you've moved on,
I'm sad because I can't......

I'm not angry that you won't come back,
I'm sad because I keep hoping you will.

I hate Love

Have you ever been in love? Horrible, is not it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up a whole suit of armor so nothing can hurt you. Then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life. You give them a piece of you. They did not ask for it. They did something dumb one day like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life is not your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness. So simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt. A real gets inside you and rips you apart pain. I hate love.

~ Neil Gaiman

To a Stranger

Passing stranger! You do not know,
How longingly I look upon you,
You must be he I was seeking,
Or she I was seeking.
(It comes to me as a dream)

I have somewhere surely,
Lived a life of joy with you,
All is recalled as we flit by each other,
Fluid, affectionate, chaste, matured.

You grew up with me,
Were a boy with me or a girl with me,
I ate with you and slept with you, your body has become
not yours only nor left my body mine only.

You give me the pleasure of your eyes,
face, flesh as we pass,
You take of my beard, breast, hands,
in return.

I am not to speak to you, I am to think of you,
when I sit alone or wake at night, alone,
I am to wait, I do not doubt I am to meet you again.
I am to see to it that I do not lose you.

Cruel Reality of Love

Truth love or spiritual love is better topic for poem, movies and books. But now, girls want to marry wealthy and good-looking boys. Mostly gal or boy feels spiritual love with each other for short time. It does not change to long relationship or marriage. Time is changed lot. People just want to enjoy good time pass with each other in parties or dates. You can feel such love with nature too. You will see enormous love in eye of animals like cat, cow, dog etc. Any animal or person who is not selfish, you can feel such thing with them. Secondly, such love is just wastage of time and concentration if you want to succeed in your life. You can learn this from Industrialist Ratan Tata and Scientist Abdul Kalam as they are bachelor for whole life because they want to achieve success in their life. If you try spiritual love with boy or gal, it mostly gives you useless hurt at end as everyone has their own desires. Mostly such love converts to bad relation after long time or marriage. So, I advise if you want to choose anyone for love, think with mind much deeply about her or him. Mostly girls want to use boys for their convince in study or note books etc. Similarly boys want to get good time pass with girls in classes. So, this is mutual benefits for each other. It is cruel reality about such relation. So, we should not consider anyone seriously as when her or his self interest fulfilled, he or she will leave you quickly. This is a cruel world and everyone should be practical about this. Many boys got frustrated by such behaviour of girls so deeply that they hate gal much extremely. As a result, some boys attempt to attack other innocent girl on their face by knife for destructing their beauty so that they do not get any partner easily. (It happen lot in Delhi and Chandigarh several time.)

Charity

Once upon a time, Cyrus, the king of Persia captivated Croesus, the king of Lydia. Cyrus was an upright, benevolent king. Seeing King Cyrus's endowment traits one day Croesus said to him, "If you will keep donating your treasure like this, then you will become penniless very soon." Croesus was also well-heeled, but he did not believe in charity. Therefore, he floated the same opinion to Cyrus. Cyrus questioned him, "From the time I sat on the throne until today if I had not given anything to anyone, can you guess how much assets I should possess?" Croesus said, "Immeasurable wealth."

Cyrus then said, "I will make an announcement amongst my subjects that I need a great amount of wealth for a very big project and then you see the result." People happily conducted in accordance with king's command, and as a result, there laid a pile of gold in front of the palace. Croesus said in surprise, "I had estimated less wealth than this." Then Cyrus said, "If I would not have used my wealth for donations and in public's interest, then my people would have hated me, but I did not do this and donated wholeheartedly. Therefore, my people love me a lot." Cyrus's answer opened Croesus's eyes.

Moral : Charity always increases your wealth because this generosity multiplies the blessings which flow from the soul of the needy people thousand times.

The Universal Incarnation

There is a Wisdom like a brooding Sun,
A Bliss in the heart's crypt grown fiery white,
The heart of a world in which all hearts are one,
A Silence on the mountains of delight.

A Calm that cradles Fate upon its knees;
A wide Compassion leans to embrace earth's pain;
A Witness dwells within our secrecies,
The incarnate Godhead in the body of man.

Our mind is a glimmering curtain of that Ray,
Our strength a parody of the Immortal's power,
Our joy a dreamer on the Eternal's way
Hunting the fugitive beauty of an hour.

Only on the heart's veiled door the word of flame
Is written, the secret and tremendous Name.

~ Sri Aurobindo

Invitation

With wind and the weather beating round me
Up to the hill and the moorland I go.
Who will come with me? Who will climb with me?
Wade through the brook and tramp through the snow?

Not in the petty circle of cities
Cramped by your doors and your walls I dwell;
Over me God is blue in the welkin,
Against me the wind and the storm rebel.

I sport with solitude here in my regions,
Of misadventure have made me a friend.
Who would live largely? Who would live freely?
Here to the wind-swept uplands ascend.

I am the Lord of tempest and mountain,
I am the Spirit of freedom and pride.
Stark must he be and a kinsman to danger
Who shares my kingdom and walks at my side.

~ Sri Aurobindo

Heartprints

Whatever our hands touch---
We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture,
On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.

Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me to leave heartprints!
Heartprints of compassion,
Of understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindness,
and genuine concern.

May my heart touch
a lonely neighbor,
or a runaway daughter,
or an anxious mother,
or, perhaps, a dear friend!

I shall go out today.
To leave heartprints,
And if someone should say,
"I felt your touch,"
May that one sense be...
Your love touching through me.

Leave Your Heartprints around the world.

Life

Mystic Miracle, daughter of Delight,
Life, thou ecstasy,
Let the radius of thy flight
Be eternity.

On thy wings thou bearest high
Glory and disdain,
Godhead and mortality,
Ecstasy and pain.

Take me in thy wild embrace
Without weak reserve
Body dire and unveiled face;
Faint not, Life, nor swerve.

All thy bliss I would explore,
All thy tyranny.
Cruel like the lion's roar,
Sweet like springtide be.

Like a Titan I would take,
Like a God enjoy,
Like a man contend and make,
Revel like a boy.

More I will not ask of thee,
Nor my fate would choose;
King or conquered let me be,
Live or lose.

Even in rags I am a god;
Fallen, I am divine;
High I triumph when down-trod,
Long I live when slain.

~ Sri Aurobindo

The Great Example of True Love

A man in Thailand married a dead girlfriend to fulfill his promise of love.

29-year old Sarinya Kamsook and her 28- year-old boyfriend, Chadil Deffy, were to be married this year.

Sarinya Kamsook unfortunately died in a car crash, just day before the big event; Chadil Deffy decided to go on with their wedding as planned and married her.

Sarinya was involved in a car crash, leaving her severely injured. She still could have been saved with timely medical attention. However, the doctors made her wait for 6 hours due to an overcrowded ICU instead of transferring her to another hospital.

During this time, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away. During her funeral in Surin, Thailand, Chadil Duffy placed a ring on his deceased bride’s finger. It thus turned out a wedding/funeral ceremony, one of the rare events in the world.

Promise Yourself

  • To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
  • To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
  • To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
  • To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
  • To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
  • To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
  • To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
  • To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
  • To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
  • To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

Chanakya Neeti

  • A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first.
  • Even if a snake is not poisonous, it should pretend to be venomous.
  • The biggest guru-mantra is : Never share your secrets with anybody! It will destroy you.
  • There is some self-interest behind every friendship. There is no friendship without self-interests. This is a bitter truth.
  • Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, what the results might be and will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.
  • As soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it.
  • Once you start a working on something, do not be afraid of failure and do not abandon it. People who work sincerely are the happiest.
  • The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction.
  • Whore s do not live in company of poor men, citizens never support a weak company and birds do not build nests on a tree that does not bear fruits.
  • God is not present in idols. Your feelings are your god. The soul is your temple.
  • A man is great by deeds, not by birth.
  • Never make friends with people who are above or below you in status. Such friendships will never give you any happiness.
  • Treat your kid like a darling for the first five years. For the next five years, scold them. By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend. Your grown up children are your best friends.
  • Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education beats the beauty and the youth.
  • Books are as useless to a stupid person as a mirror is useless to a blind person.
  • The world's biggest power is the youth and beauty of a woman.
  • Learn from the mistakes of others... you can not live long enough to make them all yourselves!

Sad Story of Suicide

You are sitting in your room with the door locked with a pen in your hand and a blank piece of paper in front of you. Your hand is shaking, and the tears begin again - for the third time in the past hour. ‘To my family’ you write at the top of the page, but decide it’s a bad way to begin your letter, your suicide letter. You try again, start over again and again, but you do not know where to begin. No one understands you; no one knows what you are going through, you are alone or at least that’s what you think. Nobody would care if you are alive or not, you mean nothing to anybody. It’s night, and you slip into bed. ’Goodbye’ you whisper into the darkness. And with that, you take your last breathe and end it all. No body cares, right? Well you thought wrong. It’s a Tuesday the following morning, and when it’s 7:21, your mother comes and knocks on your door. She does not know you can not hear her she does not know you are gone. She knocks a few more times, calling your name to open up. When there is no reply from your side of the door, she opens it and screams. She collapses on the ground while your dad rushes to your room. Your siblings have already left for school. Your very weak mother collects all the energy she’s got which is close to nothing to walk over to your bed. She leans over your dead body, crying, squeezing your hand, screaming. Your dad is trying to stay strong, but the tears escape his eyes; calling 000 or 911 with his left hand while his other one is on your mother’s back. Your mother blames herself. All those times she had said ‘no’ to you, all those times she had screamed at you, and sent you to your room over something stupid. Your father will blame himself for not being there for you when you asked for help, for being away from home at work for long. Nobody cares, right? 8:34. There’s a knock on your classroom door it’s the school principle. She looks more worried than ever. She calls the teacher to the side; all the students worried: what’s going on? The principle then later announces about your suicide. The popular girl that always called you fat and ugly is now blaming herself. The kid that would always copy your homework but treat you like crap, he’s blaming himself. The boy that sits behind you, the one that always threw things at you during class, he’s blaming himself too. The teacher is blaming herself - for all those times she’d scream at you for forgetting your homework, or not listening in class. People are crying, screaming, shocked, in regret of what they did. They’ll all be devastated - even the kids you’ve never talked to before. Still nobody cares about you, right? Your siblings get home. Your mother has to tell them that you are gone; forever. Your little sister, no matter how many times she’s screamed at you, told you she hated you and stole your stuff always loved you, and saw you as her hero; her role model. She now starts to blame herself; why didn’t I do what she told me to do when she told me to? Why did I take her stuff even when she asked me not to? This is all my fault. Your brother gets home, the boy that never cries. He’s now in his room; mad at himself, he caused your death. All those times he’d played pranks on you. He’s punching holes in his wall, turning over things; he doesn’t know how to deal with the fact that you’re gone. Forever. Nobody cares about you, right? Right? It has been over a month. The door to your room has been closed all this time. Everything is different now. Your brother has to be sent to anger management classes, your little sister cries everyday still waiting for you to come back. Everyday she waits for you to come back home. The popular girls have now turned anorexic. They do not know how to deal with the pain that they’re feeling. Your father has depression; your mother has not slept for nights it’s all her fault. She’s been crying and screaming every night wishing for you to come back. The boy who would always bother you dropped out of school. The boy that copied your homework now cuts. But nobody cares about you, are not I right? Your mother finally decides to go clean out your room. But she can not do it. She’s locked herself in your room for two days to try to clean up your clothes, your things. But she can not she can not say goodbye to you, not yet, not now. Never. It’s your funeral. It’s a big one, everybody comes. No one knows what to say. The beautiful girl with the big smile is gone; you’re somewhere else. No one knows what to say, they’re all still shocked. Everyone cries, everyone misses you. They all wish you’d come back but you do not, and you won’t. Still think nobody cares about you? Think again. Even if people do not show it, they care about you, they love you. If you kill yourself today or any other day you won’t know just how much you meant to people. If you kill yourself today, it stops your pain, but it pains all the ones who know you for the rest of their life. Suicide is the easy way out - but it’s the wrong choice. Life is beautiful. Yes, it does have its ups and downs everyone has their bad days. Sometimes people go through tough times in their lives like you are probably going through now but bad times come and go. You might not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s there. No matter how hard life gets, never give up on yourself, or on your life. Take a minute now, and think. If you killed yourself, how would the people that love you feel/go through? Can not think of anything? Well I’ll tell you: tears, tears, and more tears. Devastation. Guilt. Pain. Broken. Regret. Miserable. If after reading this you still feel suicidal, there are people that can help you. I’m here for you whenever you need me, and I’ll be more than happy to listen to you and try to help you feel better. There are teachers, parents, grandparents, neighbors, adults, councilors, and so many more. They are all there for you whenever you need them, I promise. And I am here too♥.

What is Love?

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, and it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.

If One Day…..

I cannot ease your aching heart,
Nor take your pain away,
But let me stay and take your hand,
And walk with you today.

I'll listen when you need to talk,
I'll wipe away your tears,
I'll share your worries when they come,
I'll help you face your fears.

I'm here and I will stand by you,
Each hill you have to climb.
So take my hand, let's face the world
Live one day at a time.

You're not alone, for I'm still here,
I'll go that extra mile.
And when your grief is easier,
I'll help you learn to smile.
