A Lovely Logic for a Beautiful Life

  • Never try to maintain relations in your life. Just try to maintain life in your relations.
  • Always welcome the problems Because problems give you dual advice : First, you know how to solve it. Second, you know how to avoid it in future.
  • We are very good Lawyers for our mistakes, Very good Judge for other’s mistakes.
  • World always says – Find good people and leave bad ones. But I say, Find the good in people and ignore the bad in them because no one is born perfect.
  • A fantastic sentence written on every Japanese bus stop : Only buses will stop here – Not your time, So Keep walking towards your goal.
  • Negative Thinkers focus on Problems, Positive thinkers focus on Solutions.
  • Never hold your head high with pride or ego. Even the winner of a gold medal gets his medal only when he bows his head down.

Inspiring Words by a 90 Year Aged

To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.

  • Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
  • When in doubt, just take the next small step.
  • Life is too short – enjoy it.
  • Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
  • Don't buy stuff you don't need.
  • You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.
  • Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
  • It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
  • Save for things that matter.
  • When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
  • Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
  • It's ok to let your children see you cry.
  • Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  • If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
  • Everything can change in the blink of an eye but don't worry; God never blinks.
  • Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
  • Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.
  • Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
  • It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else.
  • When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
  • Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
  • Over prepare, and then go with the flow.
  • Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
  • The most important sex organ is the brain.
  • No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
  • Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
  • Always choose life.
  • Forgive but don’t forget.
  • What other people think of you is none of your business.
  • Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
  • However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  • Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
  • Believe in miracles.
  • God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
  • Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
  • Growing old beats the alternative - dying young.
  • Your children get only one childhood.
  • All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
  • Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
  • If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
  • Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have not what you need.
  • The best is yet to come.
  • No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
  • Yield.
  • Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

This is something we should all read at least once a week.

A Heart Touching Words by Son to his Working Mother

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

Son : Mummy, may I ask you a question?
Mother : Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

Son : Mummy, how much do you make an hour?
Mother : That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing? the woman said angrily.

Son : I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?
Mother : If you must know, I make $20 an hour.

Son : Oh.. the little boy replied, with his head down.
Son : Mummy, may I please borrow $5?

The mother was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think: “Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn't ask for money very often.”

The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

Are you asleep, son? She asked.
No Mummy, I'm awake, replied the boy.
I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier said the woman. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. Oh, thank you Mummy! he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

Why do you want more money if you already have some? the mother grumbled.
Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. the little boy replied.

Mummy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.

The mother was crushed. She put her arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

Morel :  It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love.

A Real Boyfriend

When she stares at your mouth
Kiss her.

When she pushes you or hits you like a dummy cause she thinks shes stronger than you
Grab her and don't let go.

When she starts cursing at you trying to act all tough
Kiss her and tell her you love her.

When she's quiet
Ask her whats wrong.

When she ignores you
Give her your attention.

When she pulls away
Pull her back.

When you see her at her worst
Tell her she's beautiful.

When you see her start crying
Just hold her and don't say a word.

When you see her walking
Sneak up and hug her waist from behind.

When she's scared
Protect her.

When she steals your favorite hoodie
Let her keep it and sleep with it for a night.

When she teases you
Tease her back and make her laugh.

When she doesn't answer for a long time
reassure her that everything is okay.

When she looks at you with doubt
Back yourself up.

When she says that she loves you
She really does more than you can understand.

When she grabs at your hands
Hold her and play with her fingers.

When she bumps into you
Bump into her back and make her laugh.

When she tells you a secret
Keep it safe and untold.

When she looks at you in your eyes
Don’t look away until she does.

When she says it's over
She still wants you to be hers.

  • Stay on the phone with her even if she's not saying anything.
  • When she's mad hug her tight and don't let go.
  • When she says she's ok don't believe it, talk with her because 10 years later she'll remember you.
  • Call her at 12:00am on her birthday to tell her you love her
  • Treat her like she's all that matters to you.
  • Stay up all night with her when she's sick.
  • Watch her favorite movie with her or her favorite show even if you think it's stupid.
  • Give her the world.
  • Let her wear your clothes.
  • When she's bored and sad, hang out with her.
  • Let her know she's important.
  • Don't talk about other girls around her.
  • Kiss her in the pouring rain.
  • When she runs up to you crying, the first thing you say is: "Whose ass am i kicking baby?"

Never Judge Anyone

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call ASAP, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.

He found the boy’s father going and coming in the hall waiting for the doctor. Once seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have the sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled and said :
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came the fastest I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily.

The doctor smiled again and replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Bible “From dust we came and to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go and intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”

“Giving advice when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, “Thank God! Your son is saved!”

And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any question, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn't wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Morel : Never judge anyone because you never know how their life is and as to what is happening or what they’re going through.

A True Story about a Man’s Sacrifice

This is a true story, dates back to the British rule in India.

The Pamban Bridge is situated in Tamil Nadu, India. At the entrance of the bridge you can see a picture of a weeping man holding some human body parts close to his chest.

This bridge was built during the British rule in India and it was constructed in such a way that the center portion of the bridge could be lifted with the help of huge wheels, so that ships could easily pass under the bridge. On the bridge, roads and rail tracks are laid for trains and other vehicles to pass.

A middle aged man was appointed to roll the wheels up and down when ships arrive. Once he saw a train slowly approaching, while he was pulling back the bridge after a ship quietly passed beneath. He had to pull back quickly or else there would be a fatal accident and thousands would have died.

At that time his 9 year old son came with lunch. When he saw his father struggling with the wheels, he kept the lunch box down and started helping him to roll the wheels to put the bridge back. Suddenly his son's finger got caught inside the wheel and he started crying out. At this time if the father tries to save his son, the bridge could not be put back on time. He had no other option but to ignore his son's cry. With all his strength he kept on rolling the wheels to down the bridge. As the wheels rolled on, his son slowly started slipping away into the huge machine.

Tears rolled down his father's cheeks, but he ignored his son's cry. If he tried to save him, the train will surely fall into the sea and thousands of people will die. Slowly the boy's whole body fell into the machine and his father could hear his bones breaking one by one, until with a loud sound, his head cracked.

The train with thousands of passengers slowly rolled on the rails, without knowing what had happened there.

Though this man performed his duty honestly he lost his only loving son. With extreme lamentation, he pulled out his son's body parts from the machine and held it close to his chest and cried bitterly.

British Government honored him greatly and in memory of this incident they placed the picture at the entrance of the bridge.

There are selfless people still; only thing is we need to identify them.

Inspiring Words by Rabindranath Tagore

  • A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it.
  • Age considers; youth ventures.
  • Beauty is truth's smile when she beholds her own face in a perfect mirror.
  • Bigotry tries to keep truth safe in its hand with a grip that kills it.
  • By plucking her petals, you do not gather the beauty of the flower.
  • Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
  • Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.
  • Depth of friendship does not depend on length of acquaintance.
  • Do not say, 'It is morning,' and dismiss it with a name of yesterday. See it for the first time as a newborn child that has no name.
  • Don't limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time.
  • Emancipation from the bondage of the soil is no freedom for the tree.
  • Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man.
  • Every difficulty slurred over will be a ghost to disturb your repose later on.
  • Everything comes to us that belongs to us if we create the capacity to receive it.
  • Facts are many, but the truth is one.
  • Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.
  • From the solemn gloom of the temple children run out to sit in the dust, God watches them play and forgets the priest.
  • Gray hairs are signs of wisdom if you hold your tongue, speak and they are but hairs, as in the young.
  • He who is too busy doing good finds no time to be good.
  • I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can't make it through one door, I'll go through another door - or I'll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.

A Golf Poem

Stand proud you noble swingers of clubs and losers of balls. A recent study found the average golfer walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found golfers drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a Year. That means, on average, golfers get about 41 miles to the gallon! Kind of makes you proud. Almost feel like a hybrid. Had William Wordsworth been a golfer, he would have written something like this about a golf ball!

In my hand I hold a ball, white and dimpled, rather small.
Oh, how bland it does appear, this harmless looking little sphere.
By its size I could not guess,
The awesome strength it does possess.
But since I fell beneath its spell,
I've wandered through the fires of hell.
My life has not been quite the same,
Since I chose to play this stupid game.
It rules my mind for hours on end,
A fortune it has made me spend.
It has made me yell, curse and cry,
I hate myself and want to die.
It promises a thing called par,
If I can hit it straight and far.
To master such a tiny ball,
Should not be very hard at all.
But my desires the ball refuses,
And does exactly as it chooses.
It hooks and slices, dribbles and dies,
And even disappears before my eyes.
Often it will have a whim,
To hit a tree or take a swim.
With miles of grass on which to land,
Finds a tiny patch of sand.
Then has me offering up my soul,
If only it would find the hole.
It's made me whimper like a pup,
And swear that I will give it up.
And take to drink to ease my sorrow,
But the ball knows ... I’ll be back tomorrow.

The Mirror

I look in the mirror
And what do I see?
A strange looking person
That cannot be me.

For I am much younger
And not nearly so fat
As that face in the mirror
I am looking at.

Oh, where are the mirrors
That I used to know
Like the ones which were
Made thirty years ago?

Now all things have changed
And I’m sure you’ll agree
Mirrors are not as good
As they used to be.

So never be concerned,
If wrinkles appear
For one thing I’ve learned
Which is very clear,

Should your complexion
Be less than perfection,
It is really the mirror
That needs correction!!

Letter from an executed Yugoslav Partisan sent to his Unborn Child in World War II

My child, in the life ahead of you keep your capacity for faith and belief, but let your judgment watch what you believe. Keep your love of life, but throw away your fear of death. Life must be loved or it is lost, but it should never be loved too well.

Keep your wonder at great
and noble things, like sunlight
and thunder, the rain and
the stars, and the greatness of heroes.
Keep your heart hungry for new knowledge.
Keep your hatred of a lie, and keep your power of indignation.

Best Friends

If only you could see,
The pain that comes to me.
When I'm killing my feelings for you everyday,
Just being your best friend isn't okay.
Why don't you ask me now?
I'd answer you the truth somehow.
And someday, make you mine,
I know I will,
But you're my best friend still.
Maybe you'll understand someday,
Only if you could see,
Why everyday I keep smiling
Even after the pain that comes to me.

Today I Walk Alone!

Boy : I broke up with her.

His Best Friend : What happened?

Boy : She’s just too much for me.

His Best Friend : What makes you say that? What did she do wrong?

Boy : Well, for one.. She only cared about her appearance. Always had to look good, always took forever to get dressed! So insecure.

Best Friend : So, you broke her heart because she wanted to keep your eyes locked on her? She wanted you to see that you have the prettiest girl under your sleeve and not think otherwise? I see..

Boy : Oh.. Well.. She’d often call me or text me asking where I am, who I’m with, telling me not to smoke, not to drink. She’s so clingy!

Best Friend : So, you broke her heart because she cares about your well being because she cares about you a lot? And her greatest fear is losing you. I see..

Boy : But.. Uhh.. Well, she’d always cry when I say something slightly mean. She can’t handle anything. She’s a crybaby!

Best Friend : So, you broke her heart because she has feelings? And because she just wanted to hear you say you love her? I see..

Boy : I.... Well you know, she’d get jealous easily. I could barely talk to other girls! She’s so annoying! I had to hide it from her.

His Best Friend : So, you broke her heart because she just wanted you to commit to her? She thought you were faithful, but you lied so she could find out later and hurt even more? She just wanted the guy she loves the most to love only her. I see.

Boy : Well, she..

Best Friend : You broke up with her because she’s good for you? She just wanted the best for you? She’s broken now because you were selfish. Are you proud?

Boy : I broke her heart because I couldn’t see what was happening. What happened to me?

Best Friend : You lost the girl that loved you like no one else could. You see? You didn’t want her when all she ever wanted was you. That’s what happened.

True Facts about Jealous Personality

You can not harm a jealous person because jealous people always suffer anger or upset inside by seeing your success or pleasure. So, there is no need to hurt them as they always hurting their health, time or some time wealth by observing your happiness. If you attempt to hurt them, you will also lose your wealth and health. It is not viable that we do not lose anything in effort of hurting other person. (It can be your valuable time or health.) If that individual upset by your effort, in return, you will not get a benefit a pinch from this. Instead, you constantly experience an emotion of fear or sorrow inside your heart at that moment.

I always suggest you that you should not make any relationship or friendship with a jealous personality. If this person gets hurt by you during your friendship mistakenly, they will turn into your extreme opponent. They will constantly try to demolish your pleasure, achievement or wealth at any expenses.

Give Me Strength

This is my prayer to thee, my lord - strike,
strike at the root of penury in my heart.

Give me the strength lightly to bear my joys and sorrows.

Give me the strength to make my love fruitful in service.

Give me the strength never to disown the poor or bend my knees before insolent might.

Give me the strength to raise my mind high above daily trifles.

And give me the strength to surrender my strength to thy will with love.

The boy ends up marrying her friend who told her to break up with him in the first place. When he found out what she had done, He killed himself; To be with the girl he really loves! He was 28.

Conversation with God

Me : God, can I ask You a question?

God : Sure

Me : Promise You won't get mad…..

God : I promise

Me : Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God : What do you mean?

Me : Well, I woke up late

God : Yes

Me : My car took forever to start

God : Okay

Me : at lunch they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait

God  : Hmmmmm

Me : On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call

God : All right
Me : And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager and relax. But it would not work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God : Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning and I had to send one of my angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled) : OH

God : I did not let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me : (ashamed)

God : The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I did not want you to catch what they have, I knew you could not afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed) : Okay

God : Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I did not even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly) : I see God

God : Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I did not think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me : I'm Sorry God

God : Don't be sorry, just learn to trust Me.... in All things , the Good and the bad.

Me : I will trust You.

God : And don't doubt that My plan for your day is always better than your plan.

Me : I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God : You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children...

Time of Healing

You said I must wait.
I waited.
You said I must be patient with you.
I was patient.
You said if our love was true,
Time didn't matter.
But it did.
I guess time ran out
When you left with another.
You turned our time together,
into a time of pain and heartbreak.
Now a new time has begun,
A time of healing,
If I can heal.
This awful feeling
It consumes me.
Of your betrayal
I love you,
I hate you.
All I want to say is
Good Bye.

Spiritual Laws by Swami Vivekanand

  • Love is the Law of Life : All love is expansion, all selfishness is contraction. Love is therefore the only law of life. He who loves lives, he who is selfish is dying. Therefore, love for love's sake, because it is law of life, just as you breathe to live.
  • It’s Your Outlook that Matters : It is our own mental attitude, which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.
  • Life is Beautiful : First, believe in this world - that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you do not understand it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves!
  • It’s the way You Feel : Feel like Christ and you will be a Christ; feel like Buddha and you will be a Buddha. It is feeling that is the life, the strength, the vitality, without which no amount of intellectual activity can reach God.
  • Set Yourself Free : The moment I have realized God sitting in the temple of every human body, the moment I stand in reverence before every human being and see God in him - that moment I am free from bondage, everything that binds vanishes, and I am free.
  • Don’t play the Blame Game: Condemn None : If you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.
  • Help Others : If money helps a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.
  • Uphold Your Ideals : Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.
  • Listen to Your Soul : You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
  • Be Yourself : The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!
  • Nothing is Impossible : Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak, or others are weak.
  • You have the Power : All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.
  • Learn everyday : The goal of mankind is knowledge. Now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside: it is all inside. What we say a man 'knows', should, in strict psychological language, be what he 'discovers' or 'unveils'; what man 'learns' is really what he discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.
  • Be Truthful : Everything can be sacrificed for truth, but truth cannot be sacrificed for anything.
  • Think Different : All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.

Falling in Love is the Best Thing in Life

Love is when -

He starts getting serious about his life,
and she stops thinking about It.

He starts saving money to spend only for her,
and she never stops spending on herself.

He stops smoking, drinking just for her,
and she starts alarming about not to have them.

He starts getting crazy on her every move,
and she starts realizing how beautiful is she for someone.

He starts telling her every little thing,
and she starts talking about useless things.

He stops sleeping just to have a little talk with her,
and she starts sacrificing her sleep just to let him do so.

He starts taking her as if she is his wife,
and she starts learning to cook food just to prove it true.

He stops looking at other girls,
and she starts getting serious about her own looks.

He gets emotional while reading this text,
and she smiles for the same.

Sachal Sarmast

The name Sachal Sarmast can be translated as Ecstatic Saint of Truth. He is sometimes called Sachoo, The Truthful.

Sachal Sarmast was born in the Sindh region of what is today Pakistan, and is considered one of the great poets and Sufi mystics to emerge from the region.

His teachings have often been compared with al-Hallaj, the Sufi martyr who ecstatically proclaimed, "I am the Truth." Rather than blindly following tradition, Sachal urged people to seek the truth directly. And like ibn Arabi and others, Sachal Sarmast taught a vision of Unity called Wahdat al-Wujud, which others have compared to the great nondualist teachings of Advaita Vedanta within Hinduism and Zen/Chan within Buddhism.

Sachal Sarmast once said, "He (God) is everywhere and in each and every phenomenon. He has come here just to witness His own manifestation."

Sachal Sarmast was born Abdul Wahab in the village of Daraza in the Sindh region. His father died when he was a young child, and Abdul Wahab was raised by his uncle, who also became his spiritual master.

His soul was deeply moved by music. Listening to music, he was often enraptured, tears pouring down his face.

Sachal Sarmast married, but the young woman died two years later. He never remarried.

He took the name Sachal, Truth. Later people added Sarmast, Leader of the Ecstatics, to his name in appreciation of his spiritual poetry.

Sachal Sarmast lived a humble, ascetic life, preferring solitude, simple meals of daal and yogurt. It is said that he never left Daraza, the village of his birth. Yet he composed sacred poetry in seven different languages, poetry that is loved and sung to this day.

Translations of His Poetry

Friend, this is the only way
to learn the secret way:
Ignore the paths of others,
even the saints' steep trails.
Don't follow.
Don't journey at all.
Rip the veil from your face.

I search in the streets, I cast my sights,
The path of joy may someone behold,
The path of joy may someone behold,
How can I hide my nature, and show myself as another!
To know another is sin, every form is God Himself.

Neither did I roll rosary, nor did I ponder and pray,
I went to no mosque or temple, nor bow in adoration to any,
Sachal is lucky everyday, love is all around him.

”Tis not in religion I believe
'Tis love I live in.
When love comes to you.
Say Amen!

We are, what are we?
We know not, what we are!
For a moment we are blessed
For a moment we are accursed
Some moment we pray and fast
Some moment we are free spirits
Now we declare, 'Only we exist'
Now we declare, 'We don't exist'
For a bit, our heart is calm
In a bit, we weep rivers
Now we say, 'We are self-realized'
Now we ask, 'Who are we?'
'Sachal' we are only that eternally
what other contracts can we make here?
